Getting Started

Getting started with the Robux Tax Calculator Bot is simple and quick.

Step 1 – Invite the Bot

invite

To use the bot, you first need to invite it to your server or use it in DMs. The invite link can usually be found in the bot’s support server.

When you invite the bot to your server, make sure it has:

  • View Channels - Bot needs to see channels where commands are used

  • Send Messages - Required to send command responses and results

  • Use Slash Commands - Essential for all bot commands (/ping, /tax, /total, etc.)

  • Embed Links - Required for premium user embed responses and help messages

  • Read Message History - Needed for proper Discord API interaction

  • Send Messages in Threads - Allows bot to work in thread channels

  • Use External Emojis - For the custom Robux emoji in calculations

  • Add Reactions - User interaction

  • Manage Messages - So it can delete commands, and its own messages.

Step 2 – Explore Commands

Once the bot is in your server, type /help. This will show you a full list of commands, grouped by category. From here, you can:

  • Try basic commands like /ping to check if the bot is online.

  • Use /tax <amount> to calculate how much Robux you’ll receive after tax.

  • Use /total <amounts> (premium) to calculate multiple amounts in one command.

Step 3 – Try It Out

Here are some quick examples to get you started:

  • /tax 1000 → The bot will reply with:

    • Robux after tax (700)

    • Amount taken by Roblox (300)

  • /tax 75 → The bot will reply with:

    • Robux after tax (52)

    • Tax amount (23)

This makes it easy to understand transactions at a glance.

Step 4 – Learn About Premium

While the bot is free to use, there is also a premium option for users who want more advanced features, such as:

  • Using /total to calculate multiple amounts at once.

  • Access without cooldowns.

  • Supporting the future of the bot.

Premium can be unlocked for free by voting or purchased permanently. More details about this are explained in Part 3: Premium.
